Zoom North America is a team of audio and video industry veterans and professionals. Zoom has and will continue to introduce an innovative line of products for the music, audio for film, and commercial audio fields. These include audio recorders, video recorders, audio interfaces, guitar pedals, and more. We are looking for core team members to help support our end users, network of dealers, and sales personnel.
The Staff Accountant will report to the CFO and will assist in generating financial statements, preparing sales tax returns, and special projects. The individual will play a role in the accurate and timely entry of financial data and possess excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
Your key responsibilities will include the following:
- Assist with the month end closing procedure including reconciliation of the general ledger accounts
- Responsible for filing State tax returns
- Lending support to the quarterly / annual financial audit
- Assist with monthly inventory counts and discrepancy resolution
- Assist with inventory receiving, including calculation of landed costs
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years’ work experience in accounting/finance or related degree
- Strong accounting background with a solid understanding of debits and credits and the financial statement impact of transactions
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great plains a plus
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid work ethic, professionalism and positive attitude
- Attention to detail and able to meet deadlines
- Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
