This effect automatically adjusts the delay level based on the intensity of the input signal. Its “ducking” capability lowers the delay while you play, then lets the repeats rise during pauses or sustained notes, creating a natural ambience that preserves the clarity of your original sound.
Conversely, it can also function as a “gate delay,” where repeats are heard only while you’re playing and are cut off instantly as soon as the input stops.
